Let’s say that a distinct animal came from a distinct room into a large hall. With the fish and the cats and the dogs and the beetles, the room is thrown into chaos, of course. The pleasure of being together quickly disappears, and their differences in taste result in a fierce dispute, and finally the cats leave with the other cats, the fish with the other fish, and the beetles leave the room amongst themselves. What we hear after some time has passed is the howling of dogs.
